Glenrothes & North East Fife CHPs Improving Health Team is based in Ladybank Clinic.
The teams focus is to work with staff from the CHP, other agencies and with the public, to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities.
Our aim is to promote health and wellbeing for individuals and communities. We contribute to CHP development and delivery plans and to the outcomes and focus areas within Fife's Joint Health Improvement Plan.
Members of the team provide advice, facilitation and support for health programmes and initiatives aimed at improving health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities.
We work with colleagues to identify health needs and on the planning, evaluation, implementation, management and reporting of health improvement interventions. Providing advice on current evidence of effectiveness, national and local strategy and policy, project monitoring, designing data collection tools, data management, analysis and interpretation, and dissemination of reports.
We achieve this through collaborative working that promotes community development and involvement. We also offer training and development opportunities through the Health Improvement Training Programme and ad-hoc requests.
The team has recently expanded and now incorporates Smoking Cessation.
