Public Partnership Forum Where Health Matters
Public Partnership Forums (PPFs) have been set up all over Scotland to help patients and the public influence the planning and development of local health services.
The role of the Public Partnership Forum is to:
Involve
Support wider public involvement in planning and decision making in the NHS.
Consult
Discuss health services and health with local people to raise health issues from the communitys perspective.
Inform
Inform people about local NHS services.
For the PPF to work it needs members. You can choose how you want to be involved. This could range from just receiving information and, if you wanted, sending in comments or attending meetings. You decide what commitment you want to make.
